Tri Tool Opens its Doors in Stafford, Texas!

On Wednesday, May 7th, Tri Tool hosted a grand opening celebration at their new 15,000 square foot office and warehouse, located in Stafford, just 19 miles southwest of Houston. The new, expanded facility allows Tri Tool to better serve their customers in the onshore and offshore pipeline, oil & gas and manufacturing industries.


The grand opening was scheduled for May 7 to coincide with the Offshore Technology Conference taking place at the Reliant Center, just minutes away. Customers and industry experts in attendance were invited to take a break and enjoy the Texas barbeque and Tri Tool equipment demonstrations.


The new facility will be home to Chuck Friedrichs, Vice President of Domestic Sales and Robert Korey, Oil & Gas Sales Manager, as well as Scott Knowles, General Manager Rental/Repair Department and supporting staff.  The opening showcased some of the tools and services Tri Tool is known for, such as; Pipe Facing Machines (PFMs), Internal Line-up Clamps (ILUCs); the mechanized orbital welding system, AdaptARC, and beveling and severing equipment such as their rugged ID mounted machines and Clamshells.

In addition to portable pipe cutting and beveling equipment rental, they will have expert on-site field technicians ready to mobilize to job sites, bringing Tri Tool OEM equipment with them. The newest service to mobilize from the new location is the CNC Counterboring Service that delivers deep counterbore precision, rapid cycle times and superior surface finishes, using the safest pipe handling system available.


The Mayor of Stafford, Leonard Scarcella took time away from his busy schedule to issue a proclamation, stating that May 7, 2014 as being Tri Tool Inc. day in Stafford, Texas. “The City of Stafford is most gratified to have such a dynamic and versatile company as Tri Tool Inc. locate one of its operations here.  We are most proud of the varied and sophisticated manufacturing operations we have in our City.  With this significant addition of Tri Tool, we add another dimension to our strong and diversified manufacturing sector.” Leonard Scarcella, Mayor/City of Stafford, Texas.
